A group of hand drawn cloth dolls, I imagine these as a little gang of spooky trick or treat kids. I was sketching lots of ideas this weekend and decided to transfer some of them directly on to cloth. I like the rawness of these dolls, ink on cloth sewn into simple shapes and finished with contrasting embroidery threads to give a Frankenstein finish!
Love the idea of drawing directly onto the cloth and making art dolls … did you use any particular pens? I guess they would have to be permanent and waterproof … =D
