Lots of work in my new bird doll, her body is white linen with glass eyes and wool felt beak. Her dress is cotton poplin with real dried pressed flowers and tiny pin tucks. I’m very pleased with the way she has turned out. She is slightly taller than previous birds and has wire inside her arms and legs so she can be gently posed. The detailing is important with raw edges and threads left in place adding to her delicate feel.
She is an absolute beauty! Love the delicacy of her dress.

Wow, she is stunning. Quite heartbreaking in her way, the little feet that don’t quite touch the floor, the slightly drooped shoulders – like she got all dressed up for a party that never happened.
